THE MAJESTY OF GOD IN THE VAST UNIVERSEConscious discovery of God in all His majesty ushers in an intellectual revolution in a person. With this belief a new spiritual (Rabbani) personality emerges within

vast universe at such a high level that the whole universe is astonishingly defect-free. Belief in God is not a mere repetition of certain words. Belief, in fact, is another name for the discovery of this

the universe began about 13 billion years ago. This provides further evidence for the existence of God, because where there is a beginning there is a beginner. Without a beginner, the beginning is inconceivable

untrue. Modern science has made another important discovery which is in favour of the existence of God. Science has discovered an invisible world apart from the visible world. This invisible world is that

that of the subatomic particles. This new scientific finding has shown that the demand for a visible God is unwarranted. This is because with our two eyes we cannot see anything, even the visible, as after

they were, he was told by the Archangel that they were people who struggled on earth in the path of God. Man is being tested in this world to see what response he offers in certain given situations. It is

them mentally and physically, in word and in deed. God has given man freedom of thought and action in this world, and herein lies man’s real test, for God has given man this freedom to see how he uses it—whether

infernal or the heavenly. An infernal response is one which is categorically opposed to the will of God, while a heavenly response is one which humbly conforms to His will. Those who make the former

questions confronting man: they are, in themselves, a proof that the prophets were sent into the world by God, and that they derived their knowledge from Him. One of the most important features of their mission

which he must conform. The crucial point made by the Prophet of Islam is that this universe has One God who, with His extraordinary strength and wisdom, controls and sustains it. In order to understand how

all-powerful God, who has created this world and who guides it on its journey by means of His divine power. We find this answer acceptable because it is in no way far-fetched. Belief in God, in fact, is

himself before them, nor will he address the words “You are great” to another person, as he would to God. But he will certainly avoid asserting his own superiority, and instead will adopt a humble demeanour

parallel with his self-prostration before his Maker. The submission which he expresses in prayer to God becomes a reality in terms of his observance of others’ rights. The very act of facing in the correct

principled stand in his everyday dealings. At prayer in the mosque, he is the epitome of servitude to God: outside the mosque, he is the perfect character—humble in demeanour, morally upright, and kind considerate
